Uke3a isn't running a beginners class as such in 2026.
However, if you've joined and are having a problem please speak to Jonno or Ros and we'll help you out. Feel free to check out the 9-week progression of lessons, try out the songs in our beginners' music sheet selection and check out the videos we've attached to these classes.
You'll be playing along in no time!

Week 1
You'll need a ukulele (with a strap if possible) and a ring binder with empty sleeves for your music.
Many people borrow an instrument until they know that ukulele is for them.
Ask around, there are quite a few people who have a spare which they're happy to lend you for a week or two.
Special note for any Youtube clips: if you need to slow down the playalong speed on a youtube clip, go to the cog-wheel icon on the bottom of the screen and choose your playback speed
